Oloh MHP

Higgins, Melba, Oloh, Bynum and Epley are rural communities around Sumrall in south-central Mississippi, set among pine woods, open fields and winding country roads. The humid subtropical climate brings hot, muggy summers, mild winters and a long growing season. Sumrall’s small-town center provides everyday services and local dining, while larger shopping and entertainment options are found farther away in the Hattiesburg area. The landscape lends itself to scenic drives, gardening and outdoor recreation; public parks and named trails are limited in these small communities, so check local access before planning outings. Getting around is primarily by car, with regional roads connecting the area to Sumrall and nearby towns. The rural setting, modest commercial development and wooded surroundings distinguish this part of Lamar County from a denser suburban neighborhood.
