Timber Valley

Temperance’s 48182 area spreads across southern Monroe County near the Ohio border, with Samaria, Ottawa, Saint Anthony, Yargerville and Liberty Corners set among open farmland, wooded patches and low-rise residential stretches. The four-season climate brings humid summers, cold winters and changing fall colors. Local life is largely low-key, with everyday dining, cafés and shops along major roads and broader retail options in nearby communities. Outdoor time can include neighborhood walks, cycling country roads and visits to local parks; playgrounds and public libraries in the surrounding area add convenient options for outings. The area’s rural roots remain visible in its open landscape and historic community landmarks. Most trips are made by car, with routes connecting to nearby towns and the Toledo region; walking and biking are practical for shorter local trips where sidewalks and shoulders are available.
