The Norton Grist Mill Horse Barn building consists of 2 one-bedroom apartments. Each apartment has its own private entryway. The apartment layout and character are spacious and intimate, with high ceilings in the kitchen/dining/living area, and more traditional ceiling heights in the bedroom and bathroom. Historical architectural details, such as interior exposed beams and exterior features reminiscent of a horse barn, have been preserved and maintained. The living area is complemented by eco-friendly natural flooring, the kitchen with soft-hued porcelain, and the bedroom has natural cork flooring, with plenty of windows to bring in fresh, natural light. The water view is directly onto the creek.

For those who love to cook, the kitchen includes a modern, full-sized refrigerator; gas range/stove with stainless steel-finish range hood; dishwasher; and custom-made cabinets.
This apartment includes a washer/dryer unit conveniently tucked inside a closet off the kitchen area. There are large closets throughout for personal storage. Plus, there is a large bathroom with a spacious tiled alcove shower. There is a climate-friendly heating/cooling system provides for year-round comfort.
There is one reserved parking spot on the island designated for this apartment. Overflow parking is available across the street at Settlers Park.
Monthly rent is $1,850.00, which includes on-site parking, water, sewer, landscaping, and snow removal. Other utilities (propane, electricity, and internet) are the responsibility of the tenant. We require a one-year lease commitment. We will consider applicants who own pets. First month's rent, security deposit, and applicable pet deposit are required at lease signing. There is no smoking, including cannabis, in or nearby the building. There are no charcoal or gas grills permitted on the island due to the historic structure.
