Application Requirements All occupants over the age of 18 must meet the following criteria: 1. You must have a strong credit score. All credit scores below 600 will automatically be declined. Credit scores over 675 do not guarantee acceptance. We do not accept co-signers. 2. You cannot have a recent bankruptcy, judgment, eviction, foreclosure, history of late rent payments or short sale. Some criminal records may also be grounds for a rejected application and would be run as a secondary background check if initial application is approved. 3. You should have a gross monthly income of three times the amount of rent. This is a recommendation and is not applicable in some cases. 4. You must be able to provide income verification. We require a current bank statement and another financial document such as check stubs, award letter, job offer letter, tax return form, etc. In addition, you must demonstrate that you have enough money in your bank account to comfortably cover all move-in costs or that such funds will be available at the time of move-in. The application process will move much faster if you submit these items along with your application. Failure to submit these documents in a timely fashion (maximum 3 days from application) may result in a declined application. 5. You must be able to provide residency verification: name and phone number or other contact information of landlord, management company, leasing agent, etc. Max occupancy is 2 people in 1 bedroom unit. Pet Friendly Apts- We allow only cats in apartments. A maximum of 2 cats is allowed. While well-behaved pets are welcome, we do not allow ferrets in any of our buildings. Residents must notify us about any pet(s) living on the premises and complete a Pet Addendum to the lease agreement. Owners are responsible for any pet-related damages to the apartment or common areas. We require all pet owners to abide by the Village of Oak Park animal licensing requirements and to keep vaccinations and flea treatments up to date. In addition, animals should not be a nuisance to other residents, and must be under the owner's control at all times.
