Available Starting Sept. 1 This apartment is located on the main floor of a 1918 bungalow duplex in the heart of the Seattle University area of Capitol Hill. It is within short walking distance to the SU campus, the First Hill hospitals, downtown, many shops and restaurants on 12th Ave. and Broadway, and is about 1 mile from the Capitol Hill light rail station. The apartment features hardwood floors in the living room, updated bathroom, laundry in the unit, dishwasher, large private deck/porch on the front of the house, insulated windows, and a spacious open living and kitchen area with a stainless steel gas range and a large stainless steel refrigerator. This will be available starting Sept. 3 for a 1-year lease. It's being rented as a furnished short-term rental until then, and we can leave the furnishings in place if you like for an extra $200/month plus additional damage deposit, otherwise we'll put them in storage. Flat fee for utilities of $120/person/month, which includes water, sewer, garbage, electricity, gas, hot water (gas-powered on-demand), and heat (gas-powered). No smoking allowed in the apartment, within common areas of the property, or within 25 feet of any exterior opening in the house. Paying the holding deposit of 1/4 month's rent along with completed Zillow application and tour (either in person or by video call) will qualify you as being "applied", and applicants will be considered according to SMC 14.08.050 - "First-in-time". First month's rent will be pro-rated based on move-in day, the holding deposit will be applied toward the security deposit due upon move-in, and the last month's rent will also be due upon move-in.
