Please read and comprehend ENTIRE post before contacting!! This house is perfect for students...park your car and walk to class! For August 1st '26 lease start...only $815/mo. for one student or $850/mo. for 2 students. Two people (of any age)s is max for this dwelling! Applications are only available at a tour and are mail-in. No fee for students. This is not a management-run student housing, so it is a cool place to live. That means there is NO application fee, if you are a student. (it's only one page, anyway and only available at a tour). That also means you get a full 12 month lease that is not short 4 or 5 days at the end...leaving you and all your stuff homeless. And, no high rent or utilities, plus your rent won't get jacked-up next year if you re-new for 2027-28 year. If needed, things get fixed fast. This student housing place is perfect! With well-lighted, free, off-street parking...students leave their car parked and walk to class close by. It's a student central area, so close to K.U., bars and busy with students on the streets and walks. This apartment, in a 135 year-old big house, is full of just serious students, so no parties or running up and down the hallways screaming! Ha Ha... and just one block East of K.U., and features the top floor penthouse...with all wood floors and black and white tile floors in the one, full bath. The kitchen and living room are one larger room. Bedrooms are private...one bedroom is big, with lots of storage, the 2nd bedroom is kind of small. The free-to-use washer and dryer is available and just 10 feet down the hall...no going to the basement to wash clothes! Central heat, window A/C, ceiling fans, miniblinds. You don't share a bath or kitchen etc. with other apartments. There is no meal package included or offered. Students pay all utilities, but they will be pretty low. Tour dates will only last a short time and you can only get an application at a tour for this housing. The 1st payment of rent is due Aug. 1st, 2026. A pet like a cat(s) MAYBE o.k. with a $25 mo. per pet fee (sorry, a toy or little dog is not the same thing as a cat) Only pets are allowed, an animal that is"not-a-pet" is not allowed.
