A safe and secluded garden compound that includes four cottages, the owner's house, and a duplex. One of the cottages is now waiting for the right tenant. We are five blocks from the beach in the Oakwood area which has the highest number of artists per capita outside of NYC's Soho. It is a neighborhood with pride of place where locals greet each other as they walk, skate and bike around. The property is super protected and was once highlighted on The Venice House & Garden Walk as a 'little piece of paradise'. Cats and non-barking dogs are warmly welcomed. Our animal guests roam safely since the parking area is also closely gated. Each unit contains its own small private garden. Two larger, communal gardens invite alfresco dining and cocktail parties. Six fountains, five species of bamboo, and eight varieties of fruit trees. Three BBQ grills, two fire pits, gated parking for one car, and free laundry machines. Several chaise lounges and a Balinese daybed for outdoor chilling or napping. Current tenants are all friendly, artistic Venice types. Several have said said they cannot think of a better place to live.
