Community Description This unit has not yet been prepared to show. The current resident is gone temporarily. You need to be able to look beyond the engine parts and other items stored in the unit. If you do not have this ability, then you should not plan on visiting the apt this week. It should be prepared to show by next week sometime. 2124 E Street is a nice and affordable place to live. There is assigned off-street parking. The only utilities are electricity and cable [not included in rent]. This building is located close to downtown and there is a grocery store on 17th, and Washington Street. Sunken gardens, and Folsom Zoo are a moderate walk from the apt. The bike path is 4 blocks down E street. The neighborhood is a mix of apt buildings and single family homes. I live five miles from the building. There is no manager on site. Floorplan Description This is a one bed, one bath apartment at 2124 E Street in Lincoln, NE. This unit offers carpet except in the kitchen and bath. The spacious living room is the first thing you'll notice when you walk into this well-lit apartment home. The living room windows face south. The L kitchen has a double-basin sink, full size refrigerator, and oven and stove. The bathroom has a tub and shower combination. The bedroom does not have closets; the closets are in the hallway from living room to bedroom. This gives a separation from the neighbors. It also gives large closets immediately adjacent. There is an outside coat closet near the entry doo, and a linen closet immediately outside bath. There are three steps outside the apt and about eight steps inside apt. The mail boxes are locked and inside. The building is a quasi-split level entry. Outside doors are locked to limit building access to residents. This unit is on the middle level. The bus to South Pointe is nearby on Randolph Street. There is one assigned off-street parking spot for the unit. On street parking is allowable. The advertisement says that this is unit #4. This is not correct, it is unit number 6. I'm not competent to make the change. The unit is the top floor of a three floor building. NO PETS AND NO SMOKING ALLOWED. The pictures are not of the unit available, but are similar. Free HVAC filter changes 3 times a year. The owner pays for water and hot water. Resident pays electricity and cable if chosen. There is no gas for resident. The lease is month to month, but with costs to resident for vacancy if moving in winter time if there is vacancy.
