Furnished winter rental. This is a newly renovated one bedroom attic apartment in a classic 1860s New Englander. Our goal was to channel the detailed, restorative atmosphere of a rustic cabin in our centrally located gem.The lush and transportive apartment is easy walking distance from the Eastern Prom, the Old Port, and Bayside breweries, allowing guests a one-of-a-kind getaway. White lacquer floors are paired with antique furnishings, soft linens, and techy touches. The space features modern style and amenities along with plenty of vintage detail. Centrally located on the top of the East End, you'll enjoy easy parking, and convenient, walkable access to the Eastern Prom, the beach, the Old Port and dozens of restaurants, bars, and breweries. The pullout couch is located in the living room and is 79" x 54" when expanded, which is larger than a standard full but smaller than a queen. The well-equipped kitchen features new Haier appliances and a gas range and the bathroom has a sleek shower stall with excellent water pressure. There is an in-unit washer/dryer. You'll have a flat screen TV, and speedy WiFi. The unit is on the third floor of a four-unit apartment building, at the top of two flights of stairs. We've gotten feedback that the stairs are steep, should mobility be a concern. Street noise and respectful habitation sounds (walking/showering) from other units is present. A note for tall tenants: As this is an attic apartment, the eaves in many spots the kitchen and bathroom in particular are low. The tiled shower nook is also rather narrow. There is a single reserved parking spot in the shared driveway. Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis. Additional pet deposit may be required. Heat (gas), electric, water, wifi, parking and snow removal included. Available as a furnished seasonal rental Nov 1 to May 31.
