Welcome to our Charleston home.
This isn't a property that was furnished simply to create a rental. It's our home when we're in Charleston, so we've thoughtfully furnished and stocked it the way we love to live. Our hope is that you'll feel at home here too.
Located just off Upper King, this light-filled second-floor condo offers the perfect balance of Charleston's vibrant energy and everyday comfort. Whether you're relocating, working remotely, spending time with family, or planning an extended stay, you'll have everything you need to settle in and enjoy the city like a local.
One of our favorite places is the spacious front porch. Set high above the street, it feels surprisingly private. You can sip your morning coffee or unwind with a glass of wine while taking in the sights and sounds of the neighborhood. With comfortable lounge seating and a dining table, it's the perfect place to feel connected to Charleston while still enjoying your own peaceful space.
My favorite room in the house, though, is the living room. It's filled with beautiful original windows that open from both the top and bottom, allowing fresh air to flow through the home whenever the weather is right. The room is flooded with natural light, and the open layout connecting the living room, kitchen, and front porch makes the entire home feel bright, welcoming, and effortlessly connected.
It's also one of those spaces that's simply hard to leave. The couch is incredibly comfortable, the television is perfectly positioned for movie nights or football Saturdays, and there's something special about curling up under a blanket with the windows open, the palm trees gently swaying outside, and the sounds of Charleston drifting in from the street below. It's one of those simple moments that makes this house feel like home.
If you enjoy cooking, we think you'll appreciate the kitchen. Unlike many furnished rentals that are stocked with only the basics, we've equipped ours with the things we actually use ourselves. You'll find quality cast iron and ceramic cookware, sharp knives, a well-stocked spice drawer, pantry staples, and the tools needed whether you're preparing a quick breakfast or cooking dinner for friends.
Two comfortable queen bedrooms, quality linens, generous closet space, high-speed Wi-Fi, and an in-unit washer and dryer make everyday living easy and comfortable.
The location makes getting around effortless. Walk to Hampton Park, Leon's Oyster Shop, Harbinger Cafe, Park & Grove, Melfi's, Little Jack's, and countless restaurants, cafes, and shops along Upper King. If you're driving, you'll also appreciate how quickly you can hop on the Crosstown, making it easy to reach anywhere downtown, Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, or the beaches.
