The home has a split floor plan, so the available bedroom is separated from the primary bedroom and offers a good amount of privacy. The room is located directly next to a bathroom that would essentially be your private bathroom. An occasional guest may use it because it is closer to the common living areas, but otherwise it would not be shared. The bedroom comfortably fits a queen-size bed and has a large closet. IMPORTANT: DOGS There are two dogs in the home: A sweet 10-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix A lovable 6-year-old Shepherd mix Both are friendly and affectionate, but they are a significant part of the household. You must genuinely like and be comfortable around dogs. Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate additional dogs or cats. Other pets, such as fish or reptiles, may be negotiable. ABOUT THE ROOMMATE I'm a 38-year-old female who works as a community social worker. I work from home a couple of days a week in the office/den, but I'm generally social and enjoy getting out of the house in the evenings and on weekends. I'm looking for a female, non-smoking roommate who is respectful, responsible, considerate, and reasonably tidy. I'm not looking for someone who expects a perfectly spotless home, but I do expect a roommate who: Cleans up after themselves Doesn't leave food or dishes sitting around Is respectful of shared spaces Communicates appropriately Is considerate of the other person's space and routines Does not smoke or use illegal substances I'm hoping to find someone who wants a comfortable, peaceful, and respectful living situation rather than simply a place to sleep. RENT & LEASE $900/month + 50% of utilities Utilities include electric, water, and gas. $500 security deposit I would like to begin with a month-to-month arrangement so that we can make sure we're a good fit as roommates. If things work well for both of us, there would be the option to transition to a one-year lease.
