Rest and relax at this cozy (600 square foot) and tranquil getaway. Barred owls live in the trees just above the cabin and can be heard each night. Eagles can be seen nearly every day, bunnies also live on the property and you'll often see deer passing through. The cabin is nestled among native trees in an 11 acre private nature preserve just 3 minute drive outside of Langley. The space The cabin is cozy, with the feel of a studio apartment though it's not a true studio since it does have a separate bedroom. The kitchen, dining and living room is one open area complete with a small propane fireplace. Note it's a small cabin and the bedroom is just big enough for the queen bed and small side tables, as you can see in the photos. You have access to the entire cabin and surrounding yard (not fenced) and 1-2 parking spots. There are three residences on the property separated by a fence, landscaping, and trees. Other things to note This studio-size cabin is perfect for 1-2 people and is not roomy enough for additional guests. Terms of the rental for this cabin! :) This lease begins September 1, 2026 and runs through June 1, 2027. After that, it can renew annually on a yearly basis starting each June 1, as long as both parties agree to the renewal terms in writing. Tenant agrees to maintain the yard and garden in good condition throughout the lease, including regular mowing and general upkeep. All current landscaping on the property, including established trees and shrubs, must remain intact, and tenant may not remove or materially alter any of it without landlord's prior written consent. We try to keep native plants on the grounds and no additional tall trees planted near structures so please do not plant new plants on the property without landlord's approval except for the garden. No spreading plants (like raspberries or blackberries) should be planted in the garden without a barrier in the ground. (Planting pots are ok!) Tenant agrees to notify landlord as soon as possible of any maintenance issue or anything wrong with the unit so it can be addressed quickly. If a delay in reporting causes additional damage, tenant may be responsible for the cost of that additional damage. People working on the property such as gutter cleaners, landscapers or pest control, may access the exterior of the property to perform maintenance, with reasonable advance notice given except in emergencies. This is listed as no pets. However we are open to discussing one dog but Tenant is responsible for any damage to the property caused by the pet, beyond normal wear and tear.
