We have a surprise-ish opening in our building! It's a gorgeous recently (extensively) renovated third floor space. The primary living area is a loft-ish space with a beautiful beam that supports the whole span of roof, making it one giant, light-filled space. Down a short hallway there is a decently-sized bedroom or office or whatever you what to use it as space with a beautiful stone chimney manifold as the main decorative element. The house is a big, beautiful stone farmhouse with plenty of historical interest. It's divided into six unique and lovely apartments, five of which are occupied by kind and caring neighbors, and one that COULD be occupied by you! There is basement coin-op laundry, a big yard, a quiet street to park on, and very easy access to Fairmount park (about a mile walk down Andorra Rd to Northwestern Ave). It is an absolutely non-smoking building. It is also very old and quirky, but comfortable and special. Heat, water, and electricity are included in the rent. Water, heat, and electricity are included, save for a $25/mo surcharge for window A/C units in the summer. Non-smoking. Parking is on a quiet street property is at the end of a no-outlet street. We strive to maintain a good relationship with our neighbors, so parking would be limited to one or two cars. Lease terms are 12 months with the option to continue month-to-month thereafter. We require one month security, along with the first month's rent for move-in. The lease terms are completely generic, and will be explained in more detail during the application process. Essentially, this is a beautiful space in an awesome building. The place is full of artists and teachers and musicians and just generally solid, kind people that get along very well with one another.
