Gardenwalk of Pocola - Unclaimed

Bashe and Cedar Knobb are residential areas in and around Pocola, a small town in Oklahoma’s Ouachita foothills near the Arkansas border. The setting is mostly low-rise and spread out, with wooded hills and open land giving way to the broader Arkansas River valley. Hot, humid summers and generally mild winters shape outdoor routines through the year. Pocola’s local services and everyday shopping are nearby, while Fort Smith, Arkansas, offers a wider range of dining, retail, arts and entertainment a short drive away. The area is best explored by car, with regional highways connecting the town to neighboring communities; walking and cycling are more suited to local streets and quiet roads than to a dense network of destinations. Nearby parks and outdoor recreation in the region provide room for fresh air, though named attractions within these neighborhoods are limited.
