40 Acres m/l of Great Hunting in Appanoose County Iowa This small tract is in a real good hunting area. Sedan DNR Unit borders the farm. Terrain is hard to get around from the DNR ground from the county roads but easy to get around on from the farm. The farm has a nice area on the ridge great for a food plot and or building site. On the north end of the food plot is a bluff overlooking the bottom with the creek and the bottom timber. Across the creek the DNR ground has many many acres of wetland type habitat. The grasses are so tall, great bedding for many many deer. I think if you put a good food plot on the ridge you would see many many bucks. This area is good hunting, it is known for its hunting. When I was walking the farm I was in front of 10 deer in the 30 mins. That I was on the farm. If you need confirmation, go down to the creek bottom and see the deer trails going from DNR wetland bottom into this farm timber. This farm will go quick!!!
