100+- Big Creek, Highway 16, White County. Just North of Searcy, Arkansas, on the way to Pangburn, you cross Big Creek. This tract lays alongside this year-round creek. Big Creek had water flowing all through the driest winter of 2025-26 that I can remember. The tract has been clear cut recently however the owners have maintained good road running throughout and along the entire perimeter of the Land. Hardwoods are interspersed throughout the property. Excellent trapping for fur bearing animals exists and fishing/swimming are options anytime you want.
The map shows floodplain but the Pines tell a different story!! The Owners report no flooding has been noticed or reported since the early 80's when they purchsed the property. The previous owner planted the pines and did not loose a one to standing water or flood. As you know, Pine trees do not handle floods or bottom land that holds water for any length of time. Pines can tolerate as much rain as nature can throw at them but it must drain quickly or they die off.
This tract has a good slough along one side of the property offering really good wood duck hunting and is a perfect get away from town and it is easy access off Highwayt 16! Deer, turkey, quail, wood duck, predator, fur bearing animals.
