My Grandfathers name is Lyndon K. Meader. He finished building the cabin in ~2014 and passed 3 years later. The family including myself helped him here and there. But for the most part, Lyndon did the majority of the fabrication and construction, by himself slowly and surely. He cut every piece from handrails to balusters, every log and everything in between. His skill and precision craftsmanship is evident anywhere you look. Most materials were cut on-site. However he also had a complete wood working shop at his home on 3rd Street in Gilroy. This required him to do a lot of driving back and forth from 3rd Street to the cabin. The back of his minivan carefully loaded down with the parts he would need for the next phase of construction. Methodical and determined would sum up how Lyndon would approach his labor of love located at Magic Springs, Gilroy, CA. A legacy which will certainly stand the test of time. Thank you Lyndon K.
