The neighborhood is also less than 2 miles from ready access to US 101, yet shielded from road noise by a series of hills. When the SMART commuter train becomes operational the neighborhood will also be less than two miles from the Atherton station. The entry into the neighborhood is Simmons Lans, which is not a through street, so street traffic is greatly reduced.
