It's a 16 by 12 ft structure with a 100 amp breaker box and 5 windows. Two of the windows are large and over look the water. There are still lots for sale thru the Hidden Valley The roof is metal and there is a 6 by 12 ft deck overlooking the lake. You are allowed to build a dock at the foot of the hill behind your property. The lot is small. Approximately 40 foot by 80 foot, but it seems twice that size because you have over 200 ft between your rear property line and the water and that is part of the common property . It will always be yours to look at.It's breathtaking when there is snowfall. wild deer just stroll across the lawn. The cost of a raw price of land thru the office was $3000 when they where still available. SECO, the local electrical company, charges around $1800 to put up a power pole and run an underground line to your home. Also on the property is a 6 ft by 9 ft shed. It's rough but it still keeps things dry. The cabin comes with a pot belly stove. I took the chimney pipe down because I wanted my bed to face the window. They front and back doors where hand built with slat boards. I started a privacy fence across the front and down the side between my place and the only neighbor. The front is finished and the side only needs the 1 by 6 fence boards attached. The cabin had started to settle in the rear so I bought 30 concrete blocks and 25bags off concrete and poured pads along the sides and back. On the left rear corner I replaced the 4 by 4 post with a 6 * 6 post on a solid concrete pad. The other side still needs to be done, but it will be much easier. I removed all the wall coverings inside, installed 13 rated insulation. I also cut a hole installed a 10,000 BTU 110 air conditioner. There is some Scrappy furniture there and a 36 inch fat TV there with a DVD player. This home still needs work, but you won't find a better place to start. It is only 1/10of a mille from the pool, office, and the shower house. The shower houses are old but they have always been clean. Hidden Valley Estates is a gated community and because of the high cost of housing many people are buying larger lots and building nice 3 bedroom homes. There is enough room to one side of my cabin to add another room, or a larger deck. Or don't do any thing, just have a place to get away from the stress in your life. Water has to be brought in. There is a large spicket at the shower house. And large container are available. There has been talk off waterlines but right now it's just talk.Directions,. Take Interstate 40 west to Centerville only exit right after you pass rest stop. There is a LUVs truck stop on the right but turn left toward Centerville and go exactly 6 miles to Nunnelly Tn. Make a right on Hidden Valley Road beside the country restaurant, and go 3 miles to the guard shack on the right. You can wait there for another car to go thru and follow them. You will only go a few feet and the road will appear to dead end but it doesn't, if you look to the left it continues forward past the pool which will be on your left. Just at the top of the hill is Apache Dr and mine is the first cabin on the right (behind the privacy fence) The office is open tues thru sat 10 am to 4 on but they only let you in to look at property they have for sale so you might as well comparison shop. This little cabin will change your life,it did mine!
