Large open living room/dining room open space, two large bedrooms, 8 ft ceilings, large shower with seats and bathtub /shower combo in master bath. All hardwood & granite surfaces as well as high end stainless steel appliances. Sliding glass door with raised deck (these are only available on one side of the building). Building is 4 floors with 2 residential units on 2nd, 3rd & 4th floor but fourth floor has about 150 sq ft less but each unit owns half of the entire floor. Look larger than they are, big oversized windows including sliders do big bay window. 1st floor & now the basement have a comboined total of 4 commercial units, one is really nice and has been up for sale for a long time now, amazing business location! Much cheaper to purchase than to rent, I did a rent to own 10 years ago when they were worth $150k more a piece and only paid $1,600 per month. Great for commuters to downtown because the train station is right across the street but doesn't run late or on weekends & is the very last stop out of Boston (30 minutes max) so that's good because you don't have to listen to it but the units also have a good deal of soundproofing on outside walls as well as in between floors where there's six inches of sound proofing. Can walk or bike anywhere in town, first time in my life I didn't need a car but don't know what's more depressing, not having one or having gotten used to not having one, lol. 3 smaller closets and two walk in closets, supposed to have a storage room in the basement of our other building but original development company was too busy embezzling funds to worry about stuff like that, they were using my storage area they didn't make me aware of until they fled in the middle of the night never to be seen again and owing me $7,000 but they are gone and the association is entirely controlled by the owners now so everyone has a voice and a say in everything, all good people and easy to deal with because it's a relatively small number of units. There's only one place in town that can be legitimately used as a comparable and that's 19 Rose street, across the street but what they don't tell you is that those "comparable" units, have a full 600 sq ft less than ours do and many only have one or one and a half baths. There isn't a single comparable that's even remotely close to as big or as nice in this entire town so the appraised values which are complete bunk (I'm a professional in the industry by the way but this is personal) from top to bottom, will also make these places, well, has already made them a crazy steal! They just built some nice condos not far from here & a lot more are going to go up over the next 5, 10 & 20 years so there's no question that the value will skyrocket and can easily be rented to commuters for anywhere between $1,700 - $2,100 per month depending on certain factors and features so they are a great investment that will easily pay for itself if you chose to buy & use as a rental propert. At least with me, you will get honest information unlike what I had to deal with when dealing with the criminals who had the place built but are long gone thank god!
