First let me explain the difference in our asking price and the Zestimate. Zillow has no idea about the condition of houses listed on their site. They simply compare houses in the area. Most houses in our subdivision have sold in the mid to upper $200,000 range, but these houses have not had extensive remodeling. Most of their photos have not included photos of bathrooms, indicating that they had not been updated. We have lived in this house for 43 years. In the late 1990's we spent $60,000 while adding more square footage. This past year we have spent $60,000 in remodeling and updating the entire house. We have been meticulous in this work to ensure that we did not leave any issues for the new homeowners. There are no hidden flaws to the best of our knowledge. The remodeling has included new bathroom fixtures, new 50 gallon gas hot water heater and water softener, refinished solid hardwood floors, new lighting, and new paint throughout. The master bath has a new whirlpool bathtub, separate shower, double sink and heated tile floor. Master bedroom is 12x18 feet with large lighted closets. There is a second master bedroom and bath from the original house floor plan. The kitchen has recessed led ceiling lights, new dishwasher, new electric range, a skylight, and bar. All appliances included in the sale including smart washer and dryer. The furnace and central air is a high efficiency Bryant with wifi thermostat and is 5 years old. The house is well insulated especially in the attic. Our current bill for electricity is $128 and we keep our temperature set at 72. Tiled enclosed back porch opening to the deck. Heated garage is 900 square feet with 3 stalls and 2 separate rooms for storage or workshop, all connected to house by a breezeway. Garage has an attic with plywood floor and folding staircase for additional storage. There is new wood fencing and the entire yard is extensively landscaped with perennial plants including peach and apple trees.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
