PROXIMITY: LUXURY COASTAL LIVING Roommate / Sublease Opportunity $2300/month + complimentary cardio Have you ever dreamed of living near the beach in a vibrant community where every day offers new surprises? Welcome to Proximity, where luxury meets character. COMMUNITY FEATURES Fire Alarm Symphony When the building first opened, the fire alarms provided a full immersive sound experience, frequently triggered by humidity. Management reports that this has now been rectified, but longtime residents still fondly remember the early days of all-hours alarm concerts. Carolina Beach Road Soundscape The building enjoys a lively connection to the surrounding area. Residents regularly experience: road noise motorcycles accelerating down Carolina Beach Road bass-thumping golf carts cruising through spirited late-night discussions from patrons leaving nearby establishments such as K38 Occasionally these conversations continue in the parking lot for maximum community engagement. Downstairs Gym Acoustics Residents benefit from a nearby fitness center that occasionally provides: early-morning weight drops late-night clanging motivational metallic echoes Sleep is a mindset. Restaurant & Street Energy A new burger restaurant is opening in the neighboring building, which will enhance the community through: increased foot traffic lively street noise expanded parking competition Parking: The Hunger Games Phase Parking is already competitive even in the off-season. Once summer arrives along with new restaurants and beach traffic residents anticipate the exciting next phase known as: The Parking Hunger Games Publix may become the unofficial overflow lot. Elevator Sabbatical Program The elevators occasionally take personal development retreats. During these periods, residents can enjoy our Proximity Stairwell Fitness Plan . Staircases are designed to encourage exploration: some go up one floor some stop others require walking across the building to continue Furniture deliveries have occasionally become full-building zig-zag workouts. Valet Trash Luxury Experience Valet trash service has arrived. Residents now pay approximately $10 per person per month so trash cans can relax in the hallway before traveling the final distance to the chute. Across roughly 400 units, that equals about: $4,000 per month These hallway cans are not considered fire hazards, so if you trip over one please consider it part of the Obstacle Course Wellness Initiative . Residents are especially looking forward to summer, when the hallway trash can enjoy its natural role as a smorgasbord for pests, roaches, mold, and lovely seasonal aromas. Architectural Plot Twist One of the apartment buildings was built without a trash chute. Yes. Valet trash helps address this exciting design innovation. Fire Code Philosophy Residents were originally told they could store bikes under the stairwells. This was later removed because it was considered a fire hazard. The space has now been effectively replaced by: hallway trash cans a bike storage room that does not fit most bikes Consistency is a journey. The Gate Accessibility Adventure For about a year, the pedestrian gate remained conveniently open, allowing residents to pass through freely. Recently, it has been restored to its fully operational closed position. Residents may now enjoy the added excitement of manually opening the heavy gate every time they enter or exit. Notably, the gate does not include an ADA push button or key-fob access, creating a wonderful opportunity for: upper-body workouts neighbor bonding while asking someone to hold the gate inspirational determination from residents with mobility challenges Luxury living clearly isn't about things like accessible entry buttons or key-fob convenience. After all, why automate a gate when you can earn it. The Legendary Bike Storage Room A bike storage room was eventually built. The exciting twist: It does not actually accommodate the bikes residents own. Your options now include: displaying it proudly on your balcony so it looks like a storage unit displaying it in your living room like modern art or keeping it in your car where it apparently belongs Water Administration Premium Package The water administration fee is increasing from about $4 to $17 per month. Across the building this generates approximately: $5,200 per month This likely supports the complex technological process of water meters existing. The Neighbor Athletic-Sound Training Center Proximity embraces a community connection philosophy when it comes to sound. Residents may enjoy: competitive vacuuming enthusiastic stomping blender sprints plumbing acoustics when water travels through the walls frying pan incidents when noise is too loud early-morning hammering when neighbors hang artwork at 7 AM Soundproofing encourages neighborly awareness. Bonus Plumbing Wildlife Feature Because pipes run vertically through the building, adventurous roaches occasionally explore the plumbing system. Resident tip: Install drain covers in sinks and tubs before summer to prevent unexpected visitors. Dog Park Surprise Element Residents occasionally enjoy mystery dog deposits around the property. Management frequently sends friendly reminder emails encouraging residents to pick it up. Community participation is appreciated. Pool Security Initiative Occasional non-resident "pool enthusiasts" have reportedly visited the pool area. To address this, management has introduced wristbands, which are expected to completely solve the issue. Maintenance Adventures Maintenance used to be excellent. Unfortunately, the team has since been replaced immediately following a maintance appreciation event. Community Events Program Residents were originally promised a wide variety of community events. These now occur less frequently, creating a peaceful environment with plenty of free time. Sustainability Initiative The coffee station no longer provides cups. This change was introduced to "go green." The only thing noticeably greener since then appears to be the building's wallets. Rent & Fee Enhancement Program Residents may experience periodic rent increases, along with new or expanded community fees. Examples include: valet trash water administration upgrades amenity adjustments Luxury evolves. THINGS I ACTUALLY LOVE To be fair: 9-foot ceilings Private balcony space for sun and fresh air Incredible golden hour light Beach proximity When it's quiet, it's genuinely magical. PERFECT FOR Stair enthusiasts Puzzle solvers Amateur economists studying apartment fees Beach lovers with endurance People who find chaos charming Serious inquiries only Earplugs optional Wagon recommended
