Although we have neighbors that are not very far, we cannot see other houses from our porch--where we spend most of our afternoons. We have a lovely view down to the White River and most afternoons we only see the hummingbirds that thrive in this area. Actually the chicken houses turn out to be a big advantage--whenever someone needs directions to our home, we just ask "do you know where the new chicken houses are?"---they always do! Are you a little nervous about dealing directly with a seller? Please don't be. Although we are always willing to cooperate with real estate agents, we have sold several houses as FSBOs and always had a positive experience. We have already contacted a closing attorney here in Mountain View and are well-aware of all the legal issues (contracts, disclosures) as well as the estimated closing costs for us and our buyer.
