An applicant may submit mitigating evidence of good conduct and rehabilitation that have occurred since any conviction or recent criminal activity. Registered sex offenders will be automatically denied. Criminal backgrounds involving violent crimes, prostitution, domestic violence, illegal substance, and/or possession of weapons are grounds for automatic denial.
