Live in a building that was built in 1908 that is within steps of great restaurants, shopping, and events like Brewfest held by the Capital Ale House. Only residential unit on left side of Caroline in this block, so very quiet once town shuts down for the night. Easy access to post office, Hyperion is less than two blocks away, and get in and out of town easily particularly if heading east. The apartment has the following: central heat and air, recessed lighting, ceiling fans in the living area and the bedroom, full size washer/dryer (rarity in downtown), full size oven, 6 ft fridge, full bath tub, window in the bathroom, tons of windows from the street size and center of the block looking out over the other buildings, and storage in the hallway next to the stairwell. Utilities - water, sewer, and trash/recycle are included in the rent, no gas, and electricity runs about 60 to 120 dollars a month depending on the time of year. Though I keep the temperature around 73-75 in the summer and around 65 during the winter. All tours of the apartment should be organized through the landlord, as I am the current tenant. Unit does not have a dishwasher or a designated parking spot. Parking is street parking unless you are lucky enough to grab a residential spot on right side of Amelia Street or in the 48 hour lot on Sophia Street next to the Happy Clam. Pictures are attached though I hope to have better ones soon as I continue to pack. Next tenant would take over my current lease which runs for another year. If you would like to stay after that you would deal with the landlord.
