Our charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath standalone cottage is available October 16, 2026 through April 30, 2027, with preference given to someone looking for a 3+ month stay or the full winter season. At approximately 850 sq. ft., the cottage is cozy, exceptionally clean, recently updated, and completely furnished. Just bring your clothes and settle in! GREAT DOWNTOWN LOCATION! Enjoy living in a quiet, safe, tree-lined neighborhood while still being just blocks from downtown Coeur d'Alene. Walk to restaurants, shopping, groceries, fitness, parks, the Centennial Trail and the lake. The Citylink bus route is just half a block away, making it easy to get around without a car. It's a wonderful location for someone who wants the convenience and walkability of downtown living without living right in the middle of the activity. The cottage is especially well suited for traveling professionals, contract workers, relocating professionals, or anyone needing a comfortable furnished home for several months. WINTER LIVING: A snow shovel is provided for the walkway. When the driveway is clear of vehicles and snow conditions allow, we may also be able to snow-blow the narrow rear driveway. Because there isn't enough room to safely maneuver the snow blower around a parked vehicle, snow-blowing service is not guaranteed. The cottage has a smart thermostat for easy temperature control throughout the winter. All utilities, including heat, are included in the rent. A $50/month rent rebate is available for tenants who use the smart thermostat to help us conserve energy. We're happy to explain the simple details before you rent. RENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Applicants will be subject to standard tenant screening, including credit and background checks. A credit score of 650 or higher is preferred. Rental decisions are based on the overall application, including credit, income, rental history, and other applicable screening criteria. AVAILABILITY: October 16, 2026 through April 30, 2027 We're looking for a tenant who would like to make the cottage home for at least three months, and we'd especially love to find someone who would like to stay for the entire winter season. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, fully furnished home where you can truly settle in rather than feel like you're living in a temporary rental, we'd love to hear from you. LEASE DETAILS This is a fully furnished mid-term rental, available October 16, 2026 through April 30, 2027. We prefer a minimum stay of 3 months and would especially welcome a tenant looking for a comfortable home for the entire winter season. FURNISHED & MOVE-IN READY Furniture, bedding, towels and kitchenware are all provided. Just bring your personal belongings and settle in! ALL UTILITIES INCLUDED Your monthly rent includes: Gas Electricity Water, Sewer, Garbage & Recycling Wi-Fi No utility accounts need to be opened or transferred into your name. The cottage has a smart thermostat for easy temperature control. If the monthly Avista costs remain below $175, you'll receive a $50 rent rebate for that month. APPLICATION & SCREENING There is a $50 application fee. Applicants are subject to standard tenant screening, including credit and background checks. A credit score of 650 or higher is preferred. MOVE-IN COSTS Prior to move-in, the following are due: First month's rent $1,000 security deposit $200 end-of-term cleaning fee The $200 cleaning fee is collected upfront and covers the standard professional cleaning of the cottage after move-out. It is separate from the security deposit. LEASE TERM & EARLY DEPARTURE The lease is for the agreed-upon rental term. We understand that plans and work assignments can sometimes change. If you need to leave early, please let us know as soon as possible. Early termination is subject to the terms of the signed lease and does not automatically end the tenant's financial obligations under the lease. The complete early-termination policy will be included in the rental agreement so expectations are clear before the lease is signed. PARKING On-site driveway parking is available for up to 2 vehicles. MAIL & PACKAGES For longer stays, we ask tenants to use a P.O. Box or other separate mailing address for regular mail rather than having personal mail sent to the cottage. Packages may be delivered to the cottage. Because the cottage entrance can sometimes be difficult for delivery drivers to locate, tenants are also welcome to have packages delivered to our home next door. We're happy to help make deliveries easy and convenient. WINTER & SNOW A snow shovel is provided for the walkway. When the driveway is clear of vehicles and snow conditions allow, we may be able to snow-blow the narrow rear driveway as a courtesy. Because the snow blower cannot safely be maneuvered around parked vehicles, snow-blowing by the owners is not guaranteed and snow removal remains the tenant's responsibility. HOUSE GUIDELINES No pets No smoking No parties Quiet hours are 10 PM 7 AM We simply ask that the cottage and neighborhood be treated with care and consideration. Material or repeated violations of the lease or house rules may be grounds for termination as permitted by the lease and applicable law.
