You'll enjoy evening games next to the wood stove, outdoor fires under the stars, excellent sledding out the back door, and beautiful birds at the house feeders. There is a washer/dryer and drink fridge in the entryway (with plenty of room for ski equipment), a back room that can double as an art studio, TV/playroom, or 4th sleeping area (futon), and plenty of driveway parking (4-5 cars). Located in the Glenshire neighborhood of Truckee, a quiet locals' residential area about 5 miles east of town. Most ski resorts are approx 20-25 min away, downtown Truckee is an 8 min drive, and multiple lakes within 20 min. A half mile gets you to Glenshire Pizza and the General Store. Great walking trails from the house - and Glenshire Pond (amazing sunsets) is only 200 yards away. House backs to Glenshire protected space and is off main road; very private feel. In warmer months we even sleep outside on our deck! This lease includes all utilities, high-speed wifi, firewood, and snowplow services. This is our family residence; expectations include caring for the house, no big parties, no smoking indoors, and help watering plants and maintaining the hot tub. Received only five-star ratings as a previous short-term rental. Advertising Nov 1 - April 30 but both can be expanded; could start as early as Oct 15 and end date negotiable, possible even through summer. Lease term Nov 1 - April 30. Dogs allowed; other pets negotiable. No smoking indoors. Tenets must shovel snow from entry, deck/hot tub area; plow service only covers driveway.
