Shavano Park is more than a neighborhood, it is a small City which means we have our own Police and Fire Departments. You will not feel safer or more looked after anywhere in San Antonio. The Mayor and other City leaders are your neighbors so they share your concerns and will gladly give you the floor at any of the town meetings. Even though it's a small City we have a variety of home owners i.e. young and old, rich and maybe not so rich. Which brings us to what we will miss the most, the people of Shavano Park. We have made life long friends on Bikeway Lane. Last of all, the schools are excellent and include lots of parental involvment plus, as a bonus, there are plenty of places to worship just down the street.
