The garage is actually a 1500sqft studio and a separate building, built in 2015, with central air conditioning, fully finished, insulated, livable studio with 14 ft ceilings and dimmable LED lights. There is also a solar system with batteries, (ground mounted) and a generator subsystem that can run a majority of the functions of the house and studio. We were never without power during the big freeze of 2021.
