Mount St. Mary College is a mere few minute walk as well. Shopping is easy. There is a local bodega across the street. If you need a little more, then there are bigger grocery stores around as well as Target/Walmart (10 minute drive). Also in the warm months, there are local farmer's markets around the city. Transportation is easy. Transit Orange provides bus service across the city and throughout orange county. Biking is easy in Newburgh, it is a quick ride over the Beacon bridge to the Metro North Train Station. Also in Newburgh is Stewart International Airport and 2 interstates (I84 & I87).
