We're a community mix of 3 guys, 2 gals, from 20's to 50's all with various interests and work flows. Living in a cozy home in West San Jose, conveniently located near Cupertino and Saratoga. Our home is quiet and peaceful, centered around the values of open and healthy communication, eco-friendly living, and creative expression. The house features four split levels inside and two levels in the backyard. The lower floor includes a spacious movement studio that also serves as a guest room, ideal for exercise, yoga, dance, meditation, and more. This room includes a half bath for convenience. Our large, vibrant living room is filled with art, books, plants, musical instruments, and plenty of comfortable seating. Outside, you'll find multiple seating areas, a gas grill, and space for gardening fruits, vegetables, and flowers perfect for enjoying the beautiful San Jose weather. Our kitchen and dining area are spacious, equipped with marble countertops, new appliances, and a large island, making it easy for multiple people to cook, eat, or work simultaneously. We also share communal snacks, teas, filtered water, spices, and oils. The bedroom available is our 2nd largest (175.3 sq. ft) with a private bath (8 x 6.3), and a stall shower, with a large window overlooking the backyard. A requirement to live with us is regularly attending our monthly house meetings/potlucks. We have a group thread for ideas, questions, announcements, logistics, etc. We make every effort to keep things running smoothly and efficiently. Chores and bills are divided. Monthly bills average $80-$150 per month depending on the season and include communal household products like toilet paper and cleaning products. $1500 dollar deposit. 6 month lease with 90 day mutual right fit clause. The room is unfurnished. The Rent of $1280 is due on the 1st of the month. Room will be available September 1st possibly sooner. Flexible move in date for the right fit.
