Welcome to your new home in the heart of Sugar House! This quintessential mid-century modern bungalow has been beautifully updated while still keeping all of the warmth and character that make a home feel special. The location is truly one of the best in Salt Lake City, with many of the city's top attractions just minutes away: 1. Easy walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and grocery stores, all within a few blocks. The street is also an official bike route with very little through traffic, which is a rare find in the city. 2. Trolley Square, Downtown Sugar House, 9th & 9th, and 15th & 15th 5 minutes 3. Downtown Salt Lake City 10 minutes 4. University of Utah 10 minutes 5. Whole Foods and tons of shopping 5 minutes 6. Mountain biking trails and hiking 5 to 10 minutes 7. Skiing and snowboarding at Snowbird, Alta, Brighton, Solitude, Deer Valley, and Park City 25 to 35 minutes 8. Utah's Hogle Zoo, Natural History Museum, and Red Butte Garden 10 minutes 9. Liberty Park and Sugar House Park 5 minutes 10. Delta Center and many other music, sports, and performance venues 10 to 15 minutes This is a 2,700 square foot, 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom mid-century modern home that has been extensively updated, with no expense spared. The upstairs features gorgeous hickory hardwood floors, while the basement has beautiful French oak-style flooring. Both bathrooms have been renovated, including a large soaking tub and dual sinks in the primary bath. The kitchen is one of the highlights of the home, with professional chef-grade appliances, three ovens, an oversized farmhouse sink, quartz countertops, and an open floor plan that creates a great flow throughout the house. The layout connects beautifully from the covered front patio to the redwood-fenced backyard and deck. The yard is something special as well, with aspen trees, roses, and a wide variety of perennials, along with raspberry bushes, mint, daylilies, and hostas. One of the things that makes this home especially unique is the block itself. It is one of the friendliest in the city. We know many of the homeowners and families on the street, and they are truly wonderful. It is a wonderful block with a strong neighborhood feel, friendly homeowners, and easy access to parks, schools, restaurants, shopping, and everything Sugar House has to offer. We lived in this home for nearly 10 years before renting it, and it was a very special place for our family. That is part of why we have put so much care into updating and maintaining it. We love the home, the neighborhood, and the community around it, and we hope the next tenants will feel the same. There is also a playhouse on the side of the home with a slide and monkey bars. Emerson Elementary is just a few blocks away we used to walk there each morning and it is one of the best schools in the city. When inquiring about the property, please tell us a little about yourself and who will be living in the home. Fair Housing / Application Process: We welcome all qualified applicants and comply with all applicable fair housing laws.
