    What's special

Rare to find, beautiful Victorian brick house with high ceilings built in 1909 near downtown Salt Lake City. 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1,075 square feet, 0.11-acre lot. Since double brick was used for construction back in 1909, it never gets cold or hot in the house, even during hot, summer days. Three nicely sized bedrooms, and ample storage create a spacious single-level-living experience. Basement has space for storage. The height of the basement can allow tall man or woman to stand to his/her full height. In year of 2012, old insulation was removed, and new cellulose insulation has been poured to the highest level of 24”. Ceiling in the attic has been covered with special thermo-foil, which keeps the house warm in winter and cool in summer. Expensive and oversized Lenox A/C with solar connection availability and programmable thermostat cools down the house in less than 15 minutes during hot, summer days. This particular Lenox A/C works very quietly; you can barely hear it. On the addition of the house red brick has been installed in year of 2012. Concrete around the house was also installed in 2012 year. Custom made shed with good insulation, perfect for storage or a workshop. The “envy battery” in the shed will allow you to grow greens during the wintertime. Large and fully fenced property with a stainless steel firepit and stone-made couches. Fencing on the west side of the house and shed in the backyard have been made from cedar wood. There is storage shed sitting on the pavers pad for the lawnmower in the backyard. In year of 2012, custom reinforced retaining wall was built with metal fencing and light fixtures. The four lights on the retaining wall columns and two lights on the east side of the house are operated on a dusk to dawn setting. Professionally restored porch in 2021. Delicious organic plum trees and an apple tree are located in the backyard. UV light installed in the HVAC and metal filters in the furnace are washable; you don’t need to buy any filters anymore. Spacious laundry room with lots of shelves and two windows. Excellent water pressure inside and outside the house. New garbage disposal installed in 2021. There are two water spigots on the exterior of the house, one in the front and one in the back. In the front of the house, pipes have been prepared for a sprinkler system. There are 7 security cameras installed around the house. In year of 2009, kitchen was remodeled with new knotty alder kitchen cabinets. Also, in 2009 year, new tone paint, carpet, tile, doors and lights have been installed. There are two beautiful ceiling fans, one in the kitchen, and another in the bedroom. Entrance and back doors are made with metal inside. Refrigerator, stove, and 4 “envy batteries” are included with the sale of the home. 8-minute walk to the Smith’s store. 10-minute walk to the International Peace Gardens Park and Jordan River trail. Pioneer Police Station is right around the corner, which makes the neighborhood very safe. Very friendly, responsible, young professional neighbors. 5-minute drive to downtown. The back alley has a concrete pad you could fit another vehicle on if you open up the back chain-link gate. The street in the front is very wide which allows several cars to park in a 45-degree angle. All permits were obtained for all projects that have been performed on the property within the last 10 years. Holland tulips and vintage metal flower holders for other plants are present. This is a well-maintained home with a lot of happy memories. Watch video on Youtube: https://youtu.be/OTj3MTSeYR0
