This is a neighborhood which abuts Los Altos on two sides, and feels more like Los Altos than most of Mountain View. The houses are smaller, and the neighbors are extremely friendly. Houses are well-kept. There is an annual Halloween parade in nearby Gemello park for the under-five set and their parents. It is close to both Los Altos and Mountain View downtowns. The nearest shopping center has a Long's which carries groceries (but not meat, fish, or chicken) for things you need at the last minute. The same shopping center has Jamba Juice, Starbucks, a bagel shop, Pizza My Heart and more.
