THE SCREENING PROCESS There is a $30.00 application fee to run a credit screening and background check. We will not outright reject your application based on any credit score; however, poor credit will affect your deposit. We require at least a "C" on your credit score for the basic deposit. A "C" score is a 550 or above. If you have a "D" on your credit score (500 - 549) the deposit increases to the amount of your monthly rent payment. If you have an "F" (300 - 499) and or have more than 1 bankruptcy or 2 active collections, we will require double the first months rent as a deposit. We also screen for criminal records and will reject applications from those whom have been convicted of violent crimes (example: rape, murder, aggravated assault, etc.) or drug trafficking and also will not rent to those required to register as "sex offenders."
