The house was a turn of the century Dutch Colonial cow barn. It started being converted into a house in 1956 by a contractor who bought the barn. In 1987, we purchased the unfinished house and spent the next 5+ years finishing the conversion into a house. There were more renovations over the years, such as adding to the kitchen 2002, adding a sun room for the hot tub in 2004, and new carpet, paint, hardwood flooring, and linoleum in 2010. All of the appliances has been replaced at different times over the years, such as a new Kitchen Aide stove top in 2014 and a new dryer in 2015.
