Mid Century Modern Masterpiece with incredible view! The Winkleman house was designed around the view across Lake Wausau to Rib Mountain. The living room, family room, dining room and master bedroom all have huge windows to take in the gorgeous views. The upper deck off the master seems to float among the huge oak trees and is a perfect place to enjoy summer sunsets. Keck & Keck of Chicago did the original design and it was finished by Samuel Arlen of NYC. It has all the Keck brothers' trademarks: passive solar, indirect lighting, cedar siding, themopane windows with separate vents. It was built to commercial standards with lots of built in storage hidden in the oak faced walls. The neighborhood is in town, but very quiet with a walking path in the park across the street. The stunning modern design, rock solid construction and great location make this house one of a kind.
