This is one of the unrenovated units so it rents for less than a renovated 1 bedroom unit. The fixtures are still in very good condition so the only real difference is aesthetic. This unit faces North and Northeast with a view of the Empire State Building and surrounding high-rises. It gets very good light because there are no other high-rises blocking the view. There is a well-equipped gym with a small pool and sundeck on the 4th floor; there is a modest $30/month-to-month fee to join. There is no laundry in the unit but new machines were recently installed in the laundry room on the 4th floor. Please note that there is major construction work being done on the facade of the building. During the day when they are working, the noise and vibration makes it impossible to work or sleep.
