It's two blocks from the heart of Barnum making it a super fast and easy commute into downtown via rail, bike or car. It is a very cute, clean, updated. The house is light, bright & clean and all appliances are included. The lower level is a lock-off, with its own kitchen (Note - there is a range too not shown in the photo). The lower level windows are big and above-grade, making it quite-wonderful living space even in the lower level. There is a huge two-car garage and off-street parking. It's a phenomenal deal! This is a detached single-family house (NOT a duplex)! We would prefer no pets, but will consider one dog. The back yard is fully-fenced. With a pet, there will be a considerably-larger, refundable security deposit requirement and we will want to meet the pet and require pet references. Rent will be $1,995/month - that's $700/month per person with three - which is a heck of a deal in this market. As would be expected, tenant pays utilities and maintains yard and snow removal. The house is available November 30! We will only consider applicants with decent credit (greater than 620), a co-signer, or one that is willing to prepay a portion of a years' rent. First off, we don't own this house to make money on the rent. In fact our expenses on it are more than we will be collecting from rent. We own it because we are hoping for the value to go up over time. We want a tenant(s) that will be easy, and tenants who do what they say they are going to do when they say they are going to do it. We don't ever want to have to evict someone. So, we are willing to rent something below market value to get a really good tenant. $1995 is moderately below market value for this house. And we'll reduce the rent another $25 per month just for setting up direct deposit or bill-pay (making the rent $1970/month). We promise to never deposit the check before the 2nd of the month. Owner pays for trash and sewer. Tenants pay utilities
