Good for small group of friends, young-professionals (travel nurses welcome!!), students, or small visiting families. There are stairs with a gradual incline to get to the unit. You can use fewer steps and walk to the unit via the driveway where only two small steps are used. Our unit does not have central AC, most older Colorado homes do not because there is not a great need for it. To keep the unit cool, close the windows on warm days and open them at night to allow the cool, dry evening air in. Colorado evenings cool down nicely. There are fans provided for circulation and there is a standing A/C unit in the back bedroom that cools quite nicely.
