Our two-bedroom duplex house in beautiful North Downtown is available for rent from January 1st, 2021. We have lived here happily for almost 7 years and we are moving to a larger family home in town. Our lease runs through June 2021, so you would be taking over our lease until then, when the landlord would be happy to provide your own lease for a further year (or beyond). The current rent is $1,050 per month, including water and sewer. The landlord is a very accommodating man who has always responded to our requests for repairs promptly. Our next door neighbor in the duplex pays $1,125 in rent, so it is possible the rent on this place will increase to that in July 2021. The house has two bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs. Downstairs is a kitchen with washer and dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, and an electric stove, with a spacious living and dining area. There is ample cupboard storage in the kitchen. The bedrooms contain built-in closet storage, and there is an attic for further storage if needed. There is a back patio and a grassy area next to the house. We would be happy to facilitate a video walk through of the house before our move out in mid-December. We will not be showing the house in-person due to Covid. You are welcome to come by and see the house from the outside and talk in person with us about the place. We will be having the place and carpets professionally cleaned in December. No cats or dogs are allowed. Water and sewer included in the rent. Current monthly rent good through June 2021, new lease to be signed at that point.
