Two bedroom warehouse space located at the border of Montrose and Midtown. It's a self-contained unit, so no upstairs or downstairs neighbors. This space comes with a large stainless steel kitchen, generous-sized living room, and two large bedrooms. Included are a washer and dryer, updated appliances, gas range, and tankless water heater. Off-street parking is available. The house is well wired, with cat-5 and RG-6 on nearly every wall, and in-wall wiring for surround sound in the living room. It comes with central air and a programmable thermostat. There is some storage space in the attic, and each 11x16 bedroom comes with in-wall bookshelves. The bathroom has a double sink and high shower head. It's not red anymore, however. It was just repainted it gray. This house did NOT flood in Harvey, Ike, or Allison. The neighborhood is perfectly located. You can walk to the Midtown restaurants and bars, as well as easily get to Montrose locations like Boheme, Cucharra, or the gay bars. It has quick access to I-45 and I-59, but it is just far enough to be quiet at night. It is just over one mile from downtown, and about 11 blocks from the light rail. This unit was built in 2003, and is half of a larger warehouse, which is my home. I'm sorry, but I will not have an opportunity to take better photos until the current tenant vacates. The living room and bedrooms have carpet, which will need to be replaced. I'd like to put in wood-type flooring, and I will be investigating whether it can be accomplished. I'm flexible on the renting arrangements, and will let you terminate the lease early if you help me find a new tenant. As I stay next door, I'm looking for a conscientious tenant who fits well with the neighborhood. We are a little community on the corner, and have dinner parties, happy hours, and on occasion, themed events. While I love dogs, this house has no yard, but I would be willing to consider a calm dog if he/she is well behaved; if so, the pooch can use the yard connected to my side. The city is doing construction on the corner to add a new drain system. They have indicated that they would be complete by the end of the year. When finished, there will be a community garden for growing vegetables and herbs, which you are welcome to share. The unit is available at the beginning of December. Because the tenant in this space is our neighbor, and part of our corner community, it is more important to find the right tenant than to quickly rent the space. It has been a good space for new doctors doing a residency at the medical center or new lawyers clerking at the federal court downtown.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
