A new heat pump provides central air conditioning in the hot months and heat in the cooler months. There is a fully equipped kitchen with all the standard appliances. The family room has comfortable furnishings including one queen size sofa bed, color TV, DVD/VCR player and radio. There is a full size washer and dryer in the storage area which is big enough to store your bikes and fishing gear as well - or put them in the outside storage shed. An outside shower is available to rinse off the sand after a fun day on the beach or out in the boat. This unique cottage is located a few blocks away from a shopping area which includes family style dining, gift shops, a pizza restaurant, a gourmet cafe, etc. Because it is on the water you can bring your boat (or rent one) and enjoy beautiful sunset cruises, or quiet excursions into the national wildlife park for viewings of eagles, blue heron, etc. You can catch crabs and small fish right off the dock (a license may be required for adults) & enjoy family fun in the large fenced in yard. The cottage is located halfway between Rehoboth Beach, DE and Ocean City, MD. This general area offers tax-free outlet shopping, watersports, mini golf, championship golf, fine dining, boardwalks, etc. all within walking distance to a half hour or less drive from the cottage.
