If you enjoy waterfalls, outstanding trout fishing, breath-taking views, hiking or walks, mountain rivers, star lit nights and escaping the crowds this is the cabin for you. Located at 8800 ft in the spectacular Conejos River Valley in the southern Colorado Rockies we are surrounded by the Rio Grande National Forest and bordered by the San Juan Wilderness area providing endless and varied country to explore and enjoy. Enjoy fishing, hiking, horseback riding or relaxing along a stream. Or, hop on your ATV and explore 1000’s of acres of State and National Forest- your choice! The cabin is close to numerous locations for day trips or overnight stays. Chama, NM, is thirty minutes away. A scenic 1.5-hour drive will take you to Taos, NM or Pagosa Springs, CO. Or go a bit further to Durango, Uray, and Mesa Verde National Park. One hour from Alamosa, CO and Sand Dune National Park. All the comforts of home in a beautiful off the beaten path location.
