Outside, the roof is approximately 6-8 years old and the outer wall cedar shakes, were recently painted and are in good condition. The windows are "era". Most are insulated reproductions or have storm windows. There is also a recently built, matching "era" storage building with a loft in great condition. Also an approximately 14 x 18 foot "converted" greenhouse/ shop has a new concrete floor, is newly painted, has many windows, and a new metal roof. The house has central heat and air conditioning. It has a large basement which is accessible from the outside. This house has approx. 3,250 square feet of heated space, and is nearly totally wheelchair/ handicap accesible inside and out. There is a large laundry room with small eating area and built-in desk just off the kitchen. The closet space is enormous in this house. The yard is lancscaped with many varieties of camellia bushes, Japanese magnolias, lantana, bottle-brush plants, gardenia, and azaleas. It is within walking distance of the town square and the Flint River. The neighborhood is very quite, and is surrounded by many beautiful early century homes that line the streets on both sides. The large regional library is only 1 block away, as well as numerous shopping and dining establishments.
