    What's special

Absolutely charming, first floor condo in a vintage building complex featured annually in a tour of showcase homes. Three large bedrooms, two baths, in-unit laundry. Hardwood floors and lots of windows throughout. Updated, tiled kitchen and bath. Gas fireplace and 2 A/C units. Beautiful ceiling fans and light fixtures stay. Lots of light and an interesting layout, featuring separate dining room and a remote master suite. Terrific transportation: one block from Metra and CTA, and two minutes from a major expressway. Conveniently near nice parks, library, post office, fire station, police and notable schools and Beverly Arts Center. Neighborhood Description The building/condo is ideally situated in a quiet, yet diverse neighborhood. Transportation is excellent: it's one block from Metra trains (quiet) and CTA buses and two minutes from a major expressway. There are four nice parks nearby; two of them are 1-1/12 block away- great for walking dogs. There are churches of all denominations and great public and private schools. There's Starbuck's, Walgreen's and CVS, but many intersting mom and pop shops and restaurants all around the area. The Beverly Arts Center is walking distance; they show movies and performances, and art and yoga classes. Post office and library are walking distance, as are police and fire staions (great for insurance). There is a terrific grocer, County Fair, that features a great organic and gourmet food selction. It seems like there is every convenience, yet you are just 30 mintues from downtown Chicago. There are truly very many days when you see people out jogging, biking, walking the dog or just strolling together listening to the church bells. Amazing!
