Ready April 1! Concrete countertops, exposed brick, mixed metal finishes, white cabinets, hardwood floors, can lights, gas stove, gas dryer, a concrete floor in the bathroom with floating butcher block shelves and a wedge sink, updated windows, wainscoting, central air, new roof, updated electrical panel, a huge updated double pane window in the front room, google fiber, etc. This home also comes with a wall mounted 60" Roku flat screen in the downstairs den, a deep one car garage, washer and dryer, and a beautiful, fully fenced backyard with 3 fruit trees (peach, apple, plum) and space for a garden (you will likely have some volunteer raspberries and mint)! We are open to outdoor dogs to enjoy the nice, fenced backyard, but I am not sure how I would feel about an indoor dog or cat. We could talk about it. This was our home, so it was not updated "as a rental". Things were done with care and with long-term ease of living in mind. Motion sense kitchen faucet, the kitchen sink could fit a turkey or a baby easily, nest thermostat, etc. Extra thick filter in the furnace room for better air filtering, water and ice dispenser in the fridge, dimmers and normal sized windows in the basement bedrooms, fans in the kitchen and upstairs bedrooms, etc. The upstairs floor has a living room, a dining room through french doors (this could be closed off with the french doors and treated as a fourth bedroom or an office), a small bathroom, a bedroom, and the kitchen. Downstairs you have a large den, large bathroom, laundry area and two bedrooms. There is a park literally 2 blocks away, and another one that's a 7 minute walk. We frequented both and liked mixing it up. You are also a 2 minute drive from Stewart Canyon trails, (which is at the end of 300S street), and a short run to a VASA fitness gym, and just a walk to restaurants, a water park, an ice skating rink and more. It's the perfect location for 'quaint, small street' but also 'connected and convenient" The backyard is fully fenced and has a garden spot area and fruit trees as mentioned. The best part of this home though are the neighbors. :) We just barely updated the basement so I'll get more photos of the basement up shortly :) for now they're outdated! ** This home requires a $60 "tech package" which is basically just great google fiber bc I get it at a discount and don't want to discontinue that ;) so essentially at $2660 a month you get house + google fiber, which I think is a steal if I'm remembering comparable internet rates right? PLEASE NOTE** that if you are not a family, this home is zoned for only 3 individuals max. Yes, it would be perfect for 4 students - 2 on each floor with a shared bathroom. But it's actually also perfect for 3 unrelated adults because the fourth bedroom upstairs could become a common dining space and the bathroom upstairs is smaller than the downstairs. So that might even work out better. If you are 4 students, we can talk but I am not sure I could find a way for this to work. Please be aware of that. The things that aren't so good (so I don't waste your time or mine :): The kitchen is not large: We extended it out with the peninsula and extra storage under the peninsula, and so there is a good amount of counterspace. However, there's not a large enough space for a real table. We put a bench for seating under the kitchen window that you can pull out to make more space for chairs, or leave if you like it as seating for a little table, but for a full dining table, you will need to use the area through the french doors. There's also only a small pantry to the right of the fridge, but no walk in pantry (we had enough space in the cabinets, plus the small pantry and a set of shelves downstairs or in the garage right by the door for more long-term food storage). The bedrooms are not large: the two basement bedrooms can fit a queen but a king would be tight. There is no "master": there are 2 bedrooms and one bathroom on each floor. The bathrooms are not connected to the bedrooms - they are just next door to them. The garage is deep, but it is not wide and would only fit one car. We are looking for tenants that will take good care of this home and be a nice addition to the neighborhood. We lived here, did most of the renovations ourselves, and we love it. We will be great landlords bc you are not just a number to us. No smoking or vaping of any sort. Happy house hunting!! Would love to do a 13-15m contract to get through the semester next year and end at the start or end of summer ! :)
