Criminal Background Check A background check will be performed in accordance with Minnesota and local fair housing laws. Convictions for certain violent crimes, property damage, or drug manufacturing/distribution may result in denial. All criminal history is evaluated on a case-by-case basis, considering the nature, severity, and age of the offense. 5. Occupancy Limits Occupancy must comply with local housing codes and is generally limited to 2 persons per bedroom.
