Sunrise, Sunset , Moonrise and the curve of the coastlines lights at night. INCOME potential with weekend rentals of 2 suites with separate entries and private baths or there was also a lot of interest in renting the whole house. There will be even more once Pier 6 finishes their harbor. There is a public launch just up the street at Bay Area Park or there is also the old fish camp Eagle Point at the end of the peninsula which has a launch, slips and storage. Mooners Beach is also at the end of the peninsula and has a pub right across the street. You will be right around the corner from Gillhooley's, which has live music and has been repeatedly voted “best smoked oysters,” your also within stumbling distance to locally owned and operated Railean’s Distillery featuring fine rum tasting tours. Enjoy some redfish up at Noahs Ark at sunset, there is also a nice free fishing pier across from this restaurant. Sunny San Leon is a peninsula that juts out into Galveston Bay. This small bayside community is located 14 miles North of Galveston Island, 10 miles South of Kemah Waterfront entertainment district and 33 miles South of Downtown Houston. FREE FURNITURE >>> this place has 2 suites that were set up as weekend rentals and they come fully furnished. Unique floor plan with spiral staircase! Lots of character with vaulted wood ceiling that has an office balcony overlook. The floor plan also has exterior entrances into two of the BRs that have private baths so these rooms work great for rentals or just enjoy the whole house if you don't need extra income. The upper suites deck has a little hot tub and really cool pull out privacy walls. The lower suite also has a inique tiny tower deck  with yoga therapy pool and infrared spa, it has a view of the bay and is very private. We marketed that suite to bikers because they could pull their bike back into the locked area of the yard. It was also a nice room to allow dogs in as they have their own back yard. We tried to keep the master suite dog free. We intend to include all furnishings as they were mostly new just for the rentals. This home is one house off the bay so you are not paying waterfront taxes but can just walk right out your door and into the bay. The beach is protected by neighbors harbor walls . It is fairly shallow for a long way out and delightful to just go sit on the sand and cool off. We have seen dolphins swim here. The kitchen has over 20 feet of counter and cabinets with a tall breakfast bar separating out the dining room from the kitchen. There is a main floor laundry with elevated machines. The shared bath has a beautiful old bear claw tub with classic black and white tile under it. The vaulted living room has a wall of classic wooden 15 panel doors that open out onto the huge covered CATIO that has a lovely 2 person swing to sit on and smell the fragrant flowers and watch the waves in the bay. So yes that is a total of 2 decks, a huge porch and a small entry porch. The yard is small and suffered severely from the freeze but we replanted much of it with the goal of making it maintenance free. You should keep our lawn guy he only charges $30 a visit. NO FOR SALE sign is posted at property . We will keep status current here on Zillow so no need to ask if it is still available, if it isn't listed as pending or sold it is
