We are renting our (55+) first floor, two bedoom 1100 sq.ft. condo in Golden Lakes Village (Golden Lakes is near the corner of Okeechobee Blvd and Jog Rd, in West Palm Beach, the entrances are on Okeechobee Blvd and Skees Rd). We just renovated the kitchen: all new new cabinets, dishwasher, sink and fixtures, and new granite counter top; and updated the guest bathroom with a new vanity, sink and fixtures. There is a large passthrough between the kitchen and dining area (as part of our remodeling we made the previously existing passthrough much larger). The master bedroom has it's own bathroom and there is a guest bathroom next to the second bedroom. There are good sized closets in both bedrooms, the hall and on the lanai. The laundry is steps away from the apartment. There is one apartment between ours and the laundry room and mailboxes (see pics). Unusual for Golden Lakes, the east facing living room sliding glass door, and the lanai it opens onto, look out on woods and water, not other condos! The master bedroom window looks through the lanai onto this same view. The lanai has ceiling to floor screens with slide down shutters. We would have breakfast there or sit there at dusk and enjoy the quiet and the lighting before sundown. The lead picture is this view. There are fans in all the rooms as well as on the lanai (and of course central a/c and heat). The kitchen, bathrooms and walk in closets floors are all tiled, the dining/living and the bedrooms are berber carpeted. Comcast cable, including basic Video on Demand is included in the rent. The apartment's main parking spot is right in front of the unit. On site Golden Lakes amenities include swimming pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, sauna, library, as well as wifi, computers and a variety of senior activites and entertainment at the clubhouse. We are looking to start with a one year lease and after that are open to continuing longer term. Background check, references required. We live in town and so are easily available for any landlord related needs
